Spring in a basket

There are spring mornings that seem to carry their own kind of silence. The sun is not yet burning, the air is cool, and in the fields a low, luminous carpet of chamomile spreads across the land.

Harvesting it is one of those moments that bring you close to nature without effort. The flowers are picked carefully, one by one, like small drops of light gathered in a basket. There is no rush, only the rhythm of the field and the feeling that you are part of something old and familiar.

Chamomile has always had a place in traditional homes, mainly used as a natural remedy. In every kitchen, there would be a handful of dried flowers, carefully stored in a glass jar, ready to become a warm infusion whenever the day felt heavy or the body needed calm. It was seen not just as a “herb”, but as a simple form of care that brought relief and quiet comfort without many words.

Today, this tradition has not been forgotten and continues to remind us, in its most discreet way, of nature’s ability to offer comfort — if only we allow it...
